I was born and raised in Schenectady, New York and continue to live in the city.

My art journey began about 13 years ago and started with a home demonstration workshop that a friend of mine offered. The workshop demonstrated the art of rubber stamping. I was immediately hooked, started creating my own greeting cards, and soon found myself being a demonstrator for the rubber-stamp company. I found I enjoyed that process; sharing techniques with others and soon I knew I had to learn more. I began throwing myself into art classes, workshops and retreats. I guess I would describe myself, now, as a self-taught, mixed media artist.
